High stakes poker will be coming back for a 5th season and remain exclusive to the GSN network. After many doubts word has been received from GSN of their interest in the return of HSP. While a few months ago it was rumored we would never see another new episode, GSN is now ready to begin shooting in September and exited to still broadcast poker.
Many other rumors circulating such as it's broadcast date or that they will be including Pot Limit Omaha may or may not be true. The only real truth we have is that everyone's favorite high stakes cash game will be returning.
In my opinion, playing Pot Limit Omaha on High Stakes Poker would be great for the poker community. It would bring a fistful of players to the game, which the already seasoned vets would enjoy very much. However as that is just a rumor I don't think it will happen. They probably won't risk a new game when the popularity of NL Hold'em is so high.
